For example, let’s talk about where the mixtape title “Stand Out” comes from… It came to me in a dream. Sike. I thought of it by simply observing myself in everyday life. I feel like the stuff that my friends and I do are so out of the ordinary that people can’t help but to stare. They do this because we’re just slightly off kilter. Big deal, right? The minute someone dares to be different it’s like all hell breaks lose and people can’t understand it. I was tired of listening to the same music, wearing the same clothes, and acting the same way as everyone else so I did something about it. I stood out. And pretty much, this mixtape is one that was created to be out of the box. I mean, I hate to sound like a hippie but the mainstream sucks.
